Career Staffing

The Linglestown Fire Company membership is 100% volunteer, from the newest recruit all the way up to the Chief. In 2025, the Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Fire started to supplement the volunteers with career staffing funded by the Township. These firefighters assist at times with "putting butts in the seats" to ensure a minimum crew is available to respond to emergencies. The BoF career staff are shared between each of the three fire stations in the Township depending on the availability of volunteers.
